Quarter One Sketchbook Assignments

You will be getting this hand out on Friday 9/11. If you lose it, this post will be your resource.

As discussed on the first day, sketchbook assignments are a requirement for the Studio Art course. A sketchbook is a tool for improvement and documents your growth as an artist. You may choose to provide your own sketchbook, or you may add blank paper to the inside of your Studio Art folder. Assignments are to be done for homework.  Any student working on their sketchbook assignment in class, without permission, will receive half credit for that assignment. Sketchbooks that are not handed in by their due date listed below will lose 2 points for each class day it is late.

Each quarter the sketchbook assignments will focus on a specific media.

Quarter One will focus on pencil drawing.

The guidelines are listed below:

·      Each assignment should be worked on for at least 30 minutes
